Data Science & Artificial Intelligence

Creative.
Desirable.
Human-centered.

Aim to build a better world in the digital age

Our curriculum is dedicated to nurturing talented professionals prepared for future leadership roles. Industrial revolutions have always been powered by groundbreaking technological and scientific transformation that leads to significant social and economic progress. The current fourth industrial revolution has been sparked by faster and more seamless connectivity and higher intelligence, and we are already seeing their effects on society. We view AI and data science as key catalysts in this process, serving as the brain that steers industrial growth and societal advancement.

  • How does the School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence prepare students?
If you choose Data Science and Artificial Intelligence as your major, you will delve into the core principles of future technologies, including machine learning, data science, and mathematical modeling. We emphasize the acquisition of technical expertise matched with deep philosophical understandings of how to view the technologies and their impact on society, with the goal of moderating that impact to ensure a more people-centered approach.
  • What skills do students learn?
Our curriculum is built around three primary areas: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Computational Mathematics builds on the critical and creative thinking skills developed during the first year.
