Announcement of New Faculty Appointments

Taejae University is delighted to formally announce the addition of four distinguished full-time professors joining our faculty:

Dr. Tariq Mir, School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Dr Mir is a distinguished scholar of intellectual history in the Islamic World. He holds a first-class BA and MPhil in Theology and Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in History at SOAS University of London. His expertise lies in theology and philosophy of the Islamic World, with research interests in cultural and social interaction and exchange of knowledge in premodern Eurasia's Islamic, European, and Sinic Worlds. His experience includes roles as Senior Teaching Fellow at SOAS University of London and guest lecturer at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Dr. Lisa Warden, School of Natural Sciences

Dr. Warden's expertise lies in Marine Microbiology and Biogeochemistry. She earned her Ph.D. from Utrecht University and has previous experience as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Carnegie Science Institute and lecturer at Rowan University and Rider University.

Dr. Sung Jun Park, School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence 

Dr. Park merges the fields of psychology and engineering, with degrees from Korea University (BA in Psychology), University of Michigan (MS in Human-Computer Interaction), and Georgia Institute of Technology (Ph.D. in Human-Machine Interactions). His academic experience spans institutions in Seoul and the USA. 

Dr. Young Sang Kim, School of Business Innovation 

Dr. Kim is a distinguished finance scholar with degrees from Chung-Ang University (Korea), Georgia State University, and Southern Illinois University. He currently serves as Professor of Finance at Northern Kentucky University.
