Taejae University Selects Students for 2025 Oxford-Stanford-Taejae (OST) Fellowship Program

 

 

Taejae University has selected eight students to participate in the 2025 Oxford-Stanford-Taejae Fellowship (OST Fellowship) program and held an congratulatory ceremony on March 17, 2025. The students were selected based on a comprehensive application process, including essays and interviews with Taejae University faculty.

The selected students will participate in the fellowship program held in Oxford, UK, from March 24 to 29. The program targets students from Oxford, Stanford, and Taejae universities and consists of joint lectures by Oxford and Stanford University faculty and site visits. The joint lectures will cover various global issues including climate change science, alternative energy, population growth, global resource distribution, food security, environmental justice, biodiversity, climate change adaptation, sustainable development finance, legal and regulatory barriers and solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), and economic growth. Students will attend a total of 20 hours of lectures and receive an official certificate upon completion. Taejae University sponsors all participants with approximately $4,000 per person in program-related expenses (tuition, accommodation, meals, etc.).

 

 

OST Fellowship Program Overview

- Faculty: Professors from Oxford and Stanford Universities
- Participating Students: 5 from Oxford University, 12 from Stanford University, 8 from Taejae University
- Key Lecture Topics: Climate change science, alternative energy, sustainable development finance, environmental justice, legal and regulatory barriers and solutions, AI and economic growth, etc.
- Site Visits: King's Foundation, London Stock Exchange, Chatham House, Connect Earth, Environmental Justice Foundation, Christ Church Meadow, etc.
