Taejae University's Pioneering Students Embark on Their Journey in Innovative Education

"Our First Year at Taejae University" is a compilation of three volumes written and edited by the inaugural 2023 cohort of Taejae University , documenting their experiences during their first academic year at this innovative hybrid university. Taejae University's educational approach, which aims to pioneer future-oriented educational practices, is radically different from traditional universities featuring unique educational models such as 'Self-Directed Major Design' where each student has the freedom to design their individualized major curriculum, online 'Active Learning' based classes focusing on thorough discussion and problem-solving, and the 'Global Rotation,' wherein students spend at least one semester in major cities around the world to understand and seek solutions to local societal issues.
